My Position

Originally written:

September 11, 2001

I am a husband, father, son and brother

I will continue with all my soul to provide love, comfort,

sustenance and leadership to my family.  I will

gladly lay down my life for my family. 

Though it would never be my first choice to shed blood, I would kill to protect them.

I am an American

I will protect American interests, our way of life, our culture

and support our constitution with every fiber of my being.

I am a veteran

I have and would offer my life in the defense of our country. 

If I found myself in the service of this country,

I will defend the Constitution of the United States and the country it defines.

I am a Christian

I will stand faith in Jesus.  I will stand for justice.  I will love my neighbor. 

I will love my God.  I will not allow the evil intent of

desperate cowards to cause me to grow bitter or resentful.

I would die for my faith.

I am free

Freedom, both yours and mine, is the only thing for which I

am willing to both die and (if necessary) kill.

Only these ... nothing else.
