About This Website
The primary purpose of this website is to act as a portal to the books I have written. It also serves as a repository for many things I have written but are not in books. Finally, it is a collection of links and data that I have used in my IT career.
This is my personal website and does not represent any organization. I developed this site so I would have a place to collect the links I like to visit or remember, to store some of many things I've written over the years, and to have a reference library that I can refer to at will. I'm selling my books here, (there are links to where I am selling the books I have written) and this site sets no political, social, or professional policies.
You're welcome to poke around. You're welcome to create links to my site. You're welcome to agree or disagree with my writings, and to love or hate my site - but let's face it - it's my site and I have it for the sole purpose of storing my documents and links I use. I know that's old fashioned but I'm an old geek and I just needed a place to get to my documents and links when I don't have a computer with me. I wouldn't need this if I could remember all the URLs to my favorites and bookmarks ... but I'm an old geek and my IOC [Input/Output Controller] isn't what it used to be.
Some of the content is quite old and I have since learned more, changed my opinion, or changed my position. Some of the tech stuff has become obsolete, but I keep it around for sentimental reasons.
If you read something I wrote that angers or offends you don't write me if you disagree, or blog about me if you're offended. I'm not stating things here for the purposes of converting people to my beliefs and blasting me in a blog will not change my mind about what I do believe. I frequently get emails from people who have questions and comments; I try to respond, but sometimes I don't have time. If you need to find someone who can help you decide how to believe ... turn to Jesus, don't follow me, I'm not all that good at being 'a Christian'. I am pretty sure we all have it wrong at some level.
If you are looking for guidance relating to how to think about IT technologies, I may be able to help with that. If you're technical you may find things of interest in my library. If (while you are in my library) you find I need to add something that will benefit other geeks in the future email me with a suggestion, if I agree I'll include it in my library.
