Change IP Address

1. To Change your Windows Computer's IP Address

2. START

3. CONTROL PANEL

4. NETWORK CONNECTIONS

5. LOCAL AREA CONNECTION (example: Broadcom NetXtreme)

6. [right click] PROPERTIES

   • {second dialog box reads: "This connection uses the following items"}

7. [Scroll Down to TCP/IP]

8. [left click] On Internet Protocol {to highlight}

9. [left click] Properties

10. [left click] Radio button for "Use the following IP address:"

11. [DATA ENTRY] 10 . 10 . 10 . 10

12. [TAB] 255.255.255.0

13. [TAB] 10.10.10.1

    • 10.10.10.10 represents to correct IP address example=10.5.110.118

    • 10.10.10.1 represents the gateway. example=10.5.110.1

14. [left click] Radio button for "Obtain DNS server address automatically"

15. [left click] APPLY (if no APPLY click OK)

16. [left click] OK
