Summary

I began working with computers in the United States Air Force in 1977.  After studying at the Air Force School of Applied Sciences, I was assigned to the Strategic Air Command (now Space Command), at 341st Strategic Missile Wing in Malmstrom, AFB, Montana.  There, I continued my education in computer technologies learning binary, hexadecimal, and octal languages, as well as learning how to read dumps and perform other advanced diagnostic technical tasks. While in the Air Force I was appointed to Sergeant and attended Non-Commissioned Officer School, learning leadership skills that have served me throughout my entire career.

In 1989 following the Exxon Valdez oil spill Mike Roberts (my lifetime friend whom I served with in the Air Force) and I started a company we called 2eR Information Systems to solve the problem first responders experienced with communications and information processing in Alaska.  I designed and built a self contained mobile command post that could be airlifted into remote locations globally allowing first responders to interact with each other by programmatically connecting various radio frequencies.  The command post (Mobile Ready Systems Center) also provided a telecommunications hub (Gary Lazarus), satellite uplink (Ed Sparhawk), and decision support systems functioning on DEC Stations in a Unix Environment (Grumman Data Systems). With the assistance of another old Air Force friend who was trained in and worked in the area of Disaster Preparedness and Disaster Recover for the Strategic Air Command (Brad Franson) 2eR Information Systems wrote an extensive book of procedures outlining preparedness and recovery operations.

It was after this that I found my true calling which is to write books.  I have written four books so far and three are available here on this website.  The newest of these is called "The Gospel According to Timothy" it is truly a gospel.  I am a Christian and the gospel is how I hope to follow the directive of Jesus when he said in Matthew 28:18. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   It has been a blessing to hundreds of people and I continue to pray that it will begin to sell widely.

Before that I wrote "Demons and Prophets" which is a novel based on the work the two prophets of Revelations are called to do by God.  It is a novel and a work of fiction but it is fun!  There are demons, angels, and talking dogs.  Set in the future, "Demons and Prophets" tells the story of two unlikely heroes chosen by God to do the impossible in a very short time.

Most recently I became a full time student at Barry University to accomplish something I probably should have done a long time ago, finish my degree.
